Golddigger Trust Fundraising Dinner & Charity Auction 2019

We had a fantastic evening on Friday for the Golddigger Trust Fundraising Dinner and Charity Auction. We are delighted to announce that we raised £26,692 - every single penny of which will go to Golddigger Trust as we work to unearth value in more young people's lives.

The evening consisted of a fabulous drinks reception with live music by David Onac, a wonderful 3 course dinner and the chance to take part in an exciting and very popular sealed bit auction, featuring an array of lots. Following this we had our live auction which featured prizes donated by local and national companies including: a 2 night stay at 5* hotel, Augill Castle (raising an incredible £1000!), an hour photoshoot with Sheffield based photographer James Thomas Stanhope, various holidays, a wire fox cub by local artist Fenella Noble, event tickets and luxurious hampers.

During the evening we also had a chance to hear from one of our wonderful young people who courageously shared about her experience of being supported by Golddigger Trust and the impact this has had on her life. She shared about how Golddigger Trust’s consistent support helped her move from a 5 year cycle of self harm, with crippling anxiety that stopped her doing simple tasks like ordering a drink in a cafe, to declaring that she can ‘love herself more now', speaking on a stage to 170 guests.

Overall the evening was a fantastic success and we are so thankful to everybody who came along and supported us on the night. Also another big thank you to our wonderful sponsors, C&A Design, Henry Boot, My HR Toolkit, Charles James Financial Planning & C.Lloyd Insurance Brokers.

Make sure to keep your eyes peeled for the save the date to our 15th Anniversary Fundraising Dinner & Charity Auction 2020.
