FAQs
You can find the answer to some of our most frequently asked questions below.
I am a young person who would like to know about support
Welcome! If you are between 11-18 (Year 7 upwards) and want to take part in our courses or activities, the first step is to come along to our Wellbeing Cafe.
We’re open 3-6pm on Mondays and Tuesdays for Y7s-Y9s and on Wednesdays and Thursdays for Y10s to Y13s at The Refinery.
I’m a professional who would like to make a referral
Thank you for your interest in our services! We do not take referrals - we wanted to make it as easy as possible for young people to access Golddigger Trust services, so all they have to do is attend our Wellbeing Cafe where they can have a chat to a member of our Wellbeing Team. We really appreciate you signposting young people to the support we offer and supporting them to access it.
I have a safeguarding concern
If you are worried that a child or young person has been harmed or is at risk of harm, please phone the Sheffield Safeguarding Hub on 0114 273 4855 (24 hours) to speak to a social worker. If a child is in immediate danger then call 999 for a police response. To discuss a safeguarding concern with Golddigger Trust, please contact safeguarding@golddiggertrust.co.uk or call 0114 327 1191.
I’d like to find out more about your upcoming courses and activities
That’s great! You can find out more about our courses and activities through this link, and clicking on the course heading. You can also chat to one of our team at Wellbeing Cafe to find out what support might be best suited to you.
I can’t book a course because I don’t have the code?
Before booking a course, we ask that young people comie to our Welbeing Cafe first and chat to one of our team. Here, they'll also be able to pick up a permission form and when we've received that we'll be able to give out the code. If you are already registered but have forgotten your code, please complete this form and we will send it to you as soon as possible!
I'm looking for different support
Whilst we recognise that Golddigger Trust’s wellbeing support is unique and life changing, sometimes it’s not possible to support every young person, particularly those who may need access to specific support. Here there are a number of other trusted organisations across Sheffield and the UK who may be able to help and links to find out further information.
I’m contacting you regarding a donation
Thank you - if you’d like to make a new donation, you can do so here. If you’re contacting us about a previous or regular donation, please email us and we’ll reply as soon as possible.
I’d like to volunteer
That’s amazing, thank you! The best way to volunteer is to complete our volunteering form. When volunteering opportunities come up, we can then get in touch.
