We have moved! Introducing THE REFINERY
We are so delighted to be in our new premises, designed to provide an inspiring environment for our young people and our team; thank YOU for helping us get here! Since September we have been busy providing a fun, cool and positive place for young people to invest in their wellbeing.
Our new location is well-situated in the heart of the city, with convenient transport links, and we are aiming to create a hive of activity where every young person aged 11-18 has access to our services to provide positive wellbeing and promote their mental health. We have a wonderful new community cafe which is easily accessible on Ecclesall Road, and upstairs we have plenty of space for offices, a large bright and airy room and even a brand new studio space perfect for getting our young people moving.
These new spaces have already proven to be perfect for holding our bespoke courses for young people, including our award winning ‘I’m the girl I want to be’ course, and also for delivering our National Training. It’s been so great to see other parts of the UK wanting to get involved and bring our courses & resources to the young people where they live; going beyond Sheffield and South Yorkshire to implement change across the nation!
Our Wellbeing Cafe provides a supportive environment where young people feel safe to express themselves and connect with others. Each activity is based around our 4 values of mind, body, heart & soul whilst also creating a warm, inviting atmosphere with a calming décor to help enhance the overall experience. We are super excited by the potential of this new hub and will soon be offering some of our rooms/spaces to rent. We now have three bespoke areas to use: The Cafe - an informal cafe space with an optional private room and a fully functional kitchen. The Forge & Furnace - a large light open space that can be split into x2 rooms with a small kitchen for refreshments and The Studio - a modern-style creative studio.
